GermanDiversityAward: From sketch to award trophy

The artist and engineering artist Thomas Schönauer has created the GermanDiversityAward, which will be presented in eight categories on 18 November. A masterpiece, which stands for diversity in a unique way.

In the enclosed video, Thomas Schönauer explains the creation of his work - from the sketch to the award trophy. The trophy was produced in an elaborate process under the direction of Professor Dr Thomas Gries from the "Lehrstuhl für Textilmaschinenbau und Institut für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University" and his team.
