In the rooms of the Aachener Quellenhof, the Ecurie Aix (Formula Student Team of RWTH Aachen University) presented their new racing cars: eace07.d "Rita" and eace09 "Nuri".

The electrically driven vehicle "Nuri" convinces with a weight of only 158.2 kg. Compared to last year, the weight of the monocoque could even be reduced by 24 percent. In addition, a highly integrated LV system, a new control system, a 6 kWh 600 V HV battery and an aerodynamic package optimised for cornering have been installed.

In the coming season, "Rita" will compete in the autonomous, i.e. driverless, competition class. For this purpose, the racing car is equipped with a fully synchronised perception setup, a 40-channel LiDAR sensor, 3 mono cameras with global shutter, an implemented graph slam algorithm, and a vehicle computer with XEON E-2288 G.
