Please come to our Walk4Recycling with five companies and two institutes!
Join us for the press tour with the following schedule:
- Saturday, 10 June 2023, 10 am
- Tuesday, 13 June 2023, 10 am
The Walk4Recycling will show you a complete recycling cycle from the old textile into a new garment with the numerous process stages from tearing the old textiles, preparing and spinning the fibres, rewinding and twisting the yarns and the new pullover during the fair. The participating companies Ommi, Saurer Spinning Solutions, Savio, Saurer Technologies and Thies as well as the Institute of Textile Technology in Aachen and the Institute of Textile Technology in Augsburg will present the respective process stages of mechanical textile recycling on their stands. You will see the various textile intermediates using the example of a blend of 65% recycled cotton with 35% polyester.
