The objective of the research at ITA is not only an interaction with the scientific community and representatives of civil society, but also the transfer of our research results into industrial practice - for the benefit of industry, workforce and society at large. Securing existing jobs and creating new ones; establishing innovative product ranges and markets and training and developing people define our reasons for existence.
The know-how transfer occurs through our publications, participation in congresses, conferences and presentations at trade shows. We are a part of numerous networks and industry associations. Furthermore, we design and organise workshops and seminars with our project partners.
More strategic approaches to technology transfer are:
- Research and development projects in direct, confidential cooperation with the industry
- Know-how and technology transfer through people:
- Continuing education for professionals and executives through ITA Academy
- Training and Personal Development at ITA: 10 industrial trainees, 180 student assistants, about 300 students working on direct projects, 100 graduate students preparing for a career as industrial specialists and managers
