The ITA Group International Centre for Sustainable Textiles focuses its core competence on the goal of ensuring the holistic biotransformation of textile technology and thus the use of biological principles for small-scale value-added processes. The ITA Group International Centre for Sustainable Textiles is an international research and training service provider for fibre-based high-performance materials, textile semi-finished products and its manufacturing processes with about 400 employees.

ITA Technologietransfer GmbH The ITA Technologietransfer GmbH in Aachen functions as a technology transfer institution and is responsible for direct industrial projects. The ITA Incubator as a subsidiary of ITA GmbH is the technology centre of the ITA Group for business start-ups.
ITA Academy GmbH The ITA Academy GmbH functions as an educational service provider in the following two pillars:

Digital Capability Center DCC (Learning Factory, in cooperation with the McKinsey Company)

textile trainings (basis and customized trainings)

Institut für Textiltechnik Augsburg gGmbH, short ITA Augsburg

Research and development in the fields of recycling technologies for textiles of all kinds, composite production from recycled materials and the digitalization of textile processes. ITA Augsburg is working in close cooperation with Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.

APS GmbH Research and development in the fields of robotics, sensor technology and ICT, offers remote training for human-machine-interaction.
