The aim of the YET is to establish an international, high-quality network of young future decision-makers in Europe as well as a network meeting for such cooperation.

Together with the Honorary Consuls from Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and France as well as high-ranking speakers from the five areas of science, business, sports, culture and public administration, the participants attended a diversified three-day program.

We are delighted that an ITA post-doc has qualified for YET," said Prof. Dr Gries, Head of ITA. "This shows us that we are on the right track in research and teaching."

Dr Beckers adds: "To be honest, it is a very strange feeling to be considered one of the future leaders and role models in Europe. But I think it's time to realise that every single one of us has a responsibility to shape and advance our common future. With every part we contribute, we're making the world a slightly better place."
